Is A Pocket Knife From Things Remembered Considered An Okay Groomsmen Gift?

It's something that three of the boys would like, you may give gifts to the rehearsal dinner. . . But appropriate since we are dealing with a marriage and not just the birthday?

if three of the guys would use it then definitely give them the knife – great idea. but if the other fellows wouldn’t use one then consider giving them a gift they would. for example if one is a brandy connoisseur then give him a good bottle of brandy. or if he is a fan of a particular sport then give him a pair of tickets to the next game. or if he is loves reading then a gift card to his fave bookstore. that type of idea.
do the same for your girls – something specific to their tastes – it will make them feel totally wonderful knowing you put some thought into their gifts. we women all have more than enough makeup bags, totes, flip flops, spa baskets and such and as one fella here pointed out he has more than enough flasks, i know my hubby has more than enough beer steins, flasks, pens, money-clips, etc.
wishing you a very happy wedding!

a pocket knife is a good idea! so are money clips or flasks …

just me! @ 12:12 pm

Sure! for my wedding last August we gave the guys money clips with their initials engraved on them. Then we went out with our best man and his girlfriend just this weekend and I saw him pull the clip we gave him out of his pocket…so he really was using it!
And yes, the rehersal dinner is the time to give those gifts.

That is a good gift. Whatever you feel is best. I recently got married and we ordered our groomsmen gifts from http://www.groomstand.com. They have something for everyone. We got each of our groomsmen something we knew they would enjoy!

I think as long as it’s a gift they’ll enjoy and use, it’s fine! It’s a good idea to make the gift reflect the personality of the person receiving it. It just means they’ll actually use and enjoy it!

Sure, I’ve gotten 3 flask’s as gifts from different weddings I’ve never used, at least a pocket knife would be good for something other then being drunk on the go.

It sounds like a great gift.
Better than getting them something they will never use.

Yes My Brother gave all of his Groomsmen a pocket knife with there names engraved on them. Everyone loved them.
